Our History:

On December 15, 1990 while attending the first pan-African consultation on missions, held in Nairobi, Kenya by the Association of Evangelicals of Africa, (AEA), I received a clear  vision and understanding of what the Lord wanted me to do according to Mark 16:15.

In that vision, it was clear to me that the lord wanted me to start a Missionary Agency that would not only sensitize and communicate to His Church  the missionary vision of His people, but that will also train and equip Christians to be effective missionaries on the field.

The Lord said: The time has come for the Gospel that came to Africa to go out of this continent and return to the various countries from where It came! When my people Israel (The Prophetic People of the Gospel) came to Africa, a time came and they returned to the Land they were in before. In like manner, when my son Jesus-Christ (The Living Gospel ) came to the world, he went to Africa and when the time was fulfilled, He came out of Africa and return to the Land! The time has come for the gospel that entered Africa, to go out and reach the world .  For this reason I will raise up natives or indigenous mission societies with my servants who will bring the gospel in its fullness, simplicity and power to every direction in the world.

 On August 21, 1991, the International Missionary Association (IMA Ministries) received legal status and we started working according to the vision as can be seen on our vision sheet. IMA Ministries has participated in the experience of revivals within many churches and the renewal of the missionary vision among and in the life of so many Christians! Since 1995, the Ministry has started planting Churches where there is a need in the mission fields. Today, there are 14 churches planted in 4 of the ten provinces of the country with a total of nearly 1,200 members.

The ministry enjoys networking with other ministries and in the sharing of the Vision of the Body of Christ as one Only and Unique People of Christ, who are condemned to live together, to understand themselves, to be a blessing to one another, to appreciate God’s various Gifts to the Church and  partnership in the Harvest of the Master!
